ISLAMABAD, Oct 16 (DNA):At least 15 people were killed and eight others injured when a truck carrying gypsies overturned in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand Division on Thursday.
According to details, rescue officials 1122 said the tragic incident occurred near the third tunnel on the Swat Expressway. The truck, en route from Bahrain and Swat, lost control and flipped over, killing 15 passengers on the spot and injuring several others, a private news channel reported.
Rescue 1122 teams and local police responded swiftly, transporting the deceased and injured to the District Headquarters Hospital in Batkhela.
Rescue officials reported that the death toll may rise, as four of the injured are in critical condition.
