Russian minister visits Cuba as Trump ramps up pressure on Havana Bilal Khan Pasha said that the doors of the Trade Organization are always open for chambers of commerce, and anyone facing any kind of issue can contact the Trade Organization without hesitation. He added that the entire system of the Trade Organization is being digitalized in the near future, which will enhance transparency and provide greater facilitation to the business community. Speaking on the occasion, UBG Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari said that women are playing a key role in the development of the national economy, and women associated with women chambers should be given representation on reserved seats in the National and Provincial Assemblies. He emphasized that sustainable economic development is not possible without the inclusion of women in policymaking. Zafar Bakhtawari further stated that the government and the private sector must work together to expand business opportunities for women so that they can play an effective role in the national mainstream. President of the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Samina Fazil, in her address said that conferences of this nature play an important role in strengthening networking among women, exchanging experiences, and promoting international cooperation. She stated that women chambers are taking practical steps to empower women across the country. Samina Fazil demanded that women entrepreneurs be provided with more facilities and incentives at the policy level so that they can contribute fully to the national economy.
