TRNC envoy thanks Pakistan for support

ISLAMABAD: Representative of TRNC Dilsad Senol has thanked Pakistan for its whole-hearted support on the issue of Cyprus. She expressed these views on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Chairman Senate Defence Committee Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Senator Shahzad Waseem, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, Ambassador of Turkiye Mehmet PIicaci, Director General Ministry of Foreign Affairs Imran Haider, Representative of TRNC Dilsad Senol and others attended the reception.
Dislad Senol further hoped relations between TRNC and Pakistan would grow further even in the days to come.
She also thanked motherland Turkiye for its support. She gave a historical perspective of the Cyprus issue and the way the international community acted partially in support of the Greek side. (More coverage of the event in the coming issue of Centreline magazine)
