Rawalpindi: “You have to be the ambassador of this campaign and this clean and green campaign can only be successful once you become part of it. We have to fix our habits and become responsible citizens.

This was stated by Saqib Rafiq, President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) who was invited as chief guest at an awareness Session at Rawalpindi Women University here on Tuesday. The session was part of Clean and Green Drive 2023 being organized by Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) in collaboration with RCCI.

Saqib Rafiq who has the portfolio of Chairman RWMC, informed the students complaints can be registered on the Company’s helpline 1139 or on our social media accounts and Android phone app, these complaints will be resolved immediately. The workers of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company are performing 24-hour cleaning duties, he added.

Vice Chancellor Rawalpindi Women’s University Professor Dr. Anila Kamal while addressing the session assured all possible support of Rawalpindi Women’s University and thanked RCCI and Rawalpindi Waste Management Company for organizing the session. Dr. Muhtasim Billah said that holding the awareness session is very effective, this series should continue.

The cleanliness drive was aimed at creating awareness among students about the importance of keeping the surroundings clean and hygienic.
