She also reiterated her country’s commitment to provide all Forms of humanitarian support and urgent aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip to alleviate the suffering they have been facing since the declaration of war on the Gaza Strip three months ago, and the last of that aid was sending two ships loaded with hundreds of tons of aid to alleviate the extent of that suffering. She also stressed that her country rejects all forms of Israeli interference in the future of the Gaza Strip, which along with the West Bank forms a single geographical unit, and that the future of the occupied Palestinian territory is determined by its citizens, and her country’s commitment to providing support to the Palestinian Authority to carry out its duties to the fullest extent as a legitimate authority over all of the Palestinian land.
For his part, Minister Al-Maliki thanked France for the assistance it provided and is providing to alleviate the amount of suffering that came as a result of the war declared unilaterally by Israel, which aims to complete genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip and destroy all elements of life there. Minister Al-Maliki focused on the need to pay attention to restoring the health sector. Because of its importance in providing treatment for this large number of wounded who no longer have any opportunity for treatment within the Gaza Strip after the occupying state completely destroyed the health sector, he called on France to establish field hospitals in many areas within the Gaza Strip to alleviate the burden of the health situation and provide the minimum amount of treatment for the wounded. The two ministers agreed to continue communications between them due to the importance of reviewing and following up on all issues raised or new developments, and the necessary coordination to serve the common goals between the two countries.
