ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Core Committee strongly criticised the jail administration for not allowing Dr. Asim to conduct medical check-up of PTI Founding Chairman Imran Khan and demanded the court to take notice of the matter forthwith.

PTI Core Committee emphasised that Dr. Asim should be instantly allow to conduct Imran Khan’s medical examination.

The forum strongly condemned the reference filed against the Honorable Judge of Islamabad High Court Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani in the Judicial Council.

They stated that the misconduct reference against Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani was part of the government’s ongoing efforts to intimidate and coerce judges.

PTI Core Committee said that the reference of misconduct against a certain judge after sending toxic letters to honorable judges who exposed interference of spy agencies in judicial affairs was a part of the organized campaign against judiciary.

The forum urged Chief Justice to take notice of the incidents harassing judges directly and indirectly so as to bring to the limelight the persons responsible for this organized campaign against judges and judiciary.

On the completion of two years of the Regime Change Operation on April 9, they called upon the Pakistani nation to come out to hold peaceful protest across the country.

The forum urged that the people should hoist flags of Pakistan and PTI to show solidarity with their beloved leader Imran Khan.

PTI Core Committee stated that the party decided to boycott the unconstitutional elections for the slots of Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate.

They demanded that the elections should be postponed until electing senators from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The forum made it clear that the elections of chairman and deputy chairman of the Senate without representation of all federal units was unconstitutional and unacceptable.

Moreover, PTI Core Committee strongly criticised jail administration for not allowing families members to meet founder chairman Imran Khan, vice chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and PTI President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi during Eid holidays.

They requested the court to take notice against the action of the administration depriving Imran Khan, Qureshi and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi of constitutional right to meet their family members.
