Punjab presents historic people-friendly budget: Qudsia Batool

LAHORE: The Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Qudsia Batool Zia has said on Friday that the Punjab government has presented a people-friendly budget in the House. The historic budget of Punjab 2024-25 is a testament to the excellent vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

She lauded the balanced budget crafted under the patronage of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, with guidance from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and leadership from Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

She emphasized the government’s commitment to providing relief to economically deprived classes and various sectors of society. The government has given excellent relief to the agricultural sector in this farmer-friendly budget. She reaffirmed that since the Muslim League-N came to power, it has been consistently working to provide relief to the people.

MPA Said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is working hard day and night to correct the direction of the economy.  No tax has been imposed in this budget. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has unveiled a tax-free budget for Punjab, she added.

She said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has started the journey of development in Punjab by allocating record funds. Through the budget relief to the people and the journey of development in business would be accelerated.

Qudsia Batool Zia, further said that it has been the top priority of the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz to provide maximum relief to the citizens and it is reflected in the provincial budget. The Punjab province is now on the track of unshakable progress and there will be less inflation in days to come.
