RAWALPINDI, JUL 8 /DNA/ – Station Commander Brigadier Ahmed Nawaz visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and had a detailed discussion with the Chamber leadership President Saqib Rafique and Group Leader Sohail Altaf and other officials and members and business representatives. Senior Vice President of RCCI Muhammad Hamza Sarosh, Vice President Faisal Shahzad, former presidents, executive committee members, distinguished members of RCCI and representatives of Anjuman Tajran were also present on this occasion.
In the meeting, Saqib Rafiq and group leader Sohail Altaf stressed on addressing the issues faced by traders in the Cantonments area, especially the issue of old grant lease on a priority basis. They said that there are flaws in the old grant property lease policy. Property tax, underground cable installation, development projects, sanitation and utility services were also discussed.
Station Commander Brigadier Ahmad Nawaz while talking to the traders assured that the problems of the trader’s community will be solved with top priority. He welcomed the Chamber’s proposals to resolve other issues including the Old Grant Property Lease.
