Attaullah Tarar says government will file a review petition against Supreme Court’s reserved seats verdict

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to ban the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), alleging that the former ruling party was involved in number of anti-state activities.

The minister also said that a reference shall be filed against Imran Khan, Arif Alvi and Qasim Suri.

He also hinted at taking action against those who allegedly maneuvered US resolution.

He said that the government is filing a review petition against Supreme Court verdict the reserved seats.

Regarding ban on PTI, he said the matter shall be discussed in the next Cabinet meeting and if approved then the case shall be sent to the apex court.
