Danish ambassador meets CDA CHAIRMAN

ISLAMABAD: (PR: Dated August 1, 2024): Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa met Denmark Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Jakob Linulf at CDA headquarters on Thursday.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed about many initiative and projects being undertaken to make Islamabad beautiful and green. He informed that many steps have been taken to make CDA a vibrant organization and Islamabad a modern city.
Ambassador of Denmark H.E. Mr. Jakob Linulf commended the efforts of CDA especially the green and environment-friendly initiatives taken by CDA. The Ambassador of Denmark especially appreciated the constitution of Climate Change Funds and Margalla Hills Fund for preserving the biodiversity of the city. He shared the best practices of Denmark in the field of renewable and solid waste management and offered the expertise in these fields as well as linking the future projects with the carbon credit.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that Denmark’s experience in solid waste management will be taken into account in the ongoing initiative for the solid waste management in Islamabad. He also invited the Ambassador of Denmark to be a part of Margalla Hills plantation campaign. Ambassador of Denmark H.E. Mr. Jakob Linulf expressed his desire to be an active supporter of Margalla Hills plantation campaign along with the other diplomatic community.
