KARACHI, OCT 10 (DNA) : The Consul General of the State of Qatar, H.E. Nayef Shahein R.M. Al-Sulaiti on Thursday visited the Sindh Assembly and held meeting with Syed Awais Qadir Shah, Speaker Provincial Assembly of Sindh, here at his office.
On the occasion, various discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, cooperation, and trade between Qatar and Pakistan.
Speaker SA appreciated Qatar’s efforts in promoting football in the region and congratulated them on successfully hosting the World Cup.
The Qatar CG and Speaker SA discussed development of sports and other sectors in Sindh province to boost healthy activities.
Speaker Syed Awais Qadir Shah expressed his commitment to enhancing bilateral economic ties.
The Consul General commended the Speaker’s office for its efforts and contributions for service.
Speaker Shah invited H.E. Al-Sulaiti to attend an upcoming assembly session of Sindh Assembly.
Syed Awais Qadir Shah honoured the Consul General with a Sindhi Cap, Ajrak, and a legacy shield on the occasion.
