ISLAMABAD, OCT 13: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates considers the attacks and assaults of settler militias and their armed gangs on Palestinian citizens during the olive harvest season and their theft in many areas of the occupied West Bank, as well as their burning and cutting down of hundreds of olive trees and depriving citizens from reaching their land to pick the fruits under flimsy pretexts and excuses, to be organized state terrorism and fall within the framework of the war of extermination and displacement committed by the occupation forces to stifle any opportunity to embody the Palestinian state on the ground, and their violation of the occupied West Bank and confiscation of citizens’ lands and deepening the crimes of ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian presence, especially in areas classified as (C), which constitute the majority of the occupied West Bank, on the path to deepening and consecrating its annexation and the persistence of the hateful apartheid system, all under the protection of the occupation army with the aim of striking this blessed season that plays a vital role in supporting the already dilapidated economies of citizens.
The Ministry reaffirms that the international failure to stop the war of extermination and displacement has become a cover for the occupation and its settlers to complete their episodes in the occupied West Bank and to attack our people’s just and legitimate national rights to return, freedom and independence.
For its part, the Ministry continues its follow-ups to expose the violations and crimes of the occupation and the settler militias that escape any accountability and punishment at all international and UN levels, especially what our people are exposed to in the Gaza Strip and Jerusalem and today on the olive pickers in the occupied West Bank, which requires activating the international protection system for our people and the immediate implementation of the United Nations General Assembly resolution on adopting the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice to end the Israeli occupation of the land of the State of Palestine within 12 months, and imposing deterrent international sanctions on the occupation to force it to stop the war of extermination and crimes of the settlers against our people.
