BFC Rawalpindi, a step towards EODB & key initiative to boost industrialization in the region

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has termed that the establishment of Business Facilitation Center (BFC) is a key initiative towards ease of doing business (EODB) and it will transform Rawalpindi into a business hub. It provides seamless interaction between the business community and 36 different departments.

Addressing a ceremony to mark the one-year celebrations of Business Facilitation Center (BFC) Rawalpindi, RCCI President Usman Shaukat emphasized the importance of BFC Rawalpindi as a pivotal initiative to boost investment and industrialization in the area. He said that the establishment of BFC was a long-standing demand of the Rawalpindi Chamber.

 The event’s chief guest, MNA Hanif Abbasi, praised RCCI’s efforts in establishing the BFC to promote ease of doing business in the region. MNA Raja Hanif Abbasi appreciated the best coordination and cooperation of 36 Departments framing an one window operation for the business Community to facilitate them well in time.

Notable attendees included SVP Khalid Farooq Qazi, VP Fahad Barlas, DG RDA Ms. Kinza Murtaza, CEO Punjab Board of Investment and Trade Najaf Iqbal Syed, BFC Rawalpindi Manager Ms. Rida Sultan, CEO PBIT Mr. Najaf Iqbal, Director LG&CD, Excise and taxation, and representatives from various departments.

Later the guests of honor and chief guest received the souvenir as remembrance and appreciation to the contribution. The ceremony ended with cake cutting and media talk.
