RIYADH, FEB 2: Syria’s President Ahmed al-Sharaa arrived in Saudi Arabia on Sunday for his first official visit since taking office, marking a significant step in strengthening ties between Damascus and Riyadh.
Accompanying him on the visit is Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani, highlighting the high-level diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
Upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, President al-Sharaa was warmly received by Deputy Emir of Riyadh, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman.
Discussions during the visit are expected to focus on bilateral relations and key regional issues, as both countries work toward stability and cooperation in the evolving Middle Eastern political landscape.
The visit comes as Syria continues its efforts to rebuild international relations following years of political isolation.
