Japanese ambassador’s convoy hits accident in Mansehra, 5 cops injured

MANSEHRA: A police mobile, part of the security convoy for the Japanese Ambassador, collided and fell into a ravine in Mansehra, injuring five police officers, including two women.

The accident occurred while the vehicle was traveling from Makriya Jindwal, and police have reported that the crash was caused by brake failure.

Despite the serious incident, the Japanese Ambassador and his staff were unharmed. The Ambassador was returning after attending an event in Jindwal. Sardar Shehjan Yusuf, the parliamentary leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, was also present in the convoy at the time of the accident.

The police are investigating the cause of the crash, while the injured officers are receiving medical attention.
