KARACHI, APR 29 (DNA):Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), Amaan Pracha, and President of the United Business Group (UBG) and former FPCCI President, Zubair Tufail, addressed a press conference yesterday at the Federation House. They were accompanied by FPCCI Vice Presidents Asif Sakhi and Abdul Muhaimin Khan, and LPG distributors’ representative Ali Haider.

They clearly stated that the entire Pakistani nation, including the business community, is not afraid of India’s empty threats. The world now fully understands that the real terrorist is the Indian government, which under Modi’s leadership is nurturing terrorism. In this modern era, even the Indian public has begun to see through Modi’s lies. Should the Modi government launch any campaign against Pakistan, it will face defeat on diplomatic, public, and global levels. The entire business community of Pakistan stands firmly with the Pakistan Army under the leadership of business leaders Dr. Gohar Ejaz and S.M. Tanveer.

Vice President Amaan Pracha emphasized that Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism, and the country’s leadership is committed not only to eliminating terrorism within Pakistan but throughout the region. India is quick to blame Pakistan for any act of terrorism, but the Modi government was globally embarrassed by the Pulwama drama, which should make the Indian public rethink their pride in their infamous Prime Minister.

UBG President Zubair Tufail stated that India will not be allowed to damage Pakistan’s economy, and any such attempts will be met with a united and firm response. He reiterated that the Pulwama episode brought humiliation to the Modi government on the international stage, and Modi’s real face has been exposed. He said the people of Pakistan stand with their army and will defend the country’s sovereignty and stability. The era of threats and coercion is over; the Pakistan Army is among the world’s top forces and knows well how to bring down the enemy from high ground.

Zubair Tufail further noted that the Indian Prime Minister’s hostility towards Pakistan has backfired economically on India itself. With trade routes to Afghanistan through Pakistan closed, India has suffered a loss of $1.14 billion. Moreover, India’s trade relations with several countries are being affected, which may also negatively impact regional political and economic ties.

Regional Chairman and FPCCI Vice President Abdul Muhaimin Khan and Vice President Asif Sakhi  said that Pakistan’s military is among the top five armies in the world, and they will provide all possible support to it. He affirmed that Pakistan is ready to face Indian aggression, and the people of Pakistan know how to defend every inch of their homeland. He added that the world is aware of terrorist organizations’ links to India, and while Pakistan, as a responsible state, avoids baseless accusations, India has made it a routine to blame Pakistan for every minor or major incident in a failed attempt to cover up its own administrative incompetence.
