LAHORE, MAY 13: A surveillance drone was brought down and seized by security agencies after it was spotted flying near the airport, sources claimed.
According to sources, the uncrewed aerial vehicle was identified close to the Aviation MES area and was jammed before being forced to land. The recovered drone is now in the custody of law enforcement for examination.
No injuries or damage were reported, and an investigation is underway to determine the drone’s origin, operator, and purpose.
Authorities have assured the public that airport operations were not disrupted and that heightened airspace monitoring will continue.
