Chinese business delegation visits ICCI

ISLAMABAD, MAY 24: /DNA/ – A high-level delegation from HWOO Energy Storage, a leading comprehensive energy solutions provider headquartered in Ningbo, China, visited the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to explore avenues of collaboration and future investments in Pakistan’s energy sector.

The delegation was led by President Daniels, accompanied by the Director Sales  Ivan Sa Nogueiea and Director Marketing  Wang Tao of HWOO Energy Storage. Upon their arrival at the Chamber House, the delegation was warmly received by ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi and senior members of the Chamber.

Welcoming the delegation, President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi briefed them about ICCI’s strong advocacy role for its over 12,000 members representing the trade, industry, and service sectors. He emphasized the significance of the longstanding Pakistan-China relationship and highlighted the regional industry’s aspiration for developing a modern, export-oriented infrastructure to support value addition, technical training, and job creation aligned with international standards.

President Daniels of HWOO Energy Storage provided an overview of the company’s innovations and global operations, stressing its commitment to delivering clean, accessible energy solutions.  He expressed the company’s strong interest in investing in Pakistan’s energy sector, which he said would not only strengthen Pakistan-China ties but also contribute to employment generation and infrastructure development in the country.

Also present at the occasion were ICCI Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, and Executive Members Waseem Chaudhry, Irfan Chaudhry, Imran Minhas, and Rohail Anwar Butt, who exchanged views with the delegation on potential areas of collaboration.

The visit marks a promising step towards enhancing bilateral cooperation and sustainable development through innovation and investment in Pakistan’s energy landscape.
