ISLAMABAD, JUN 23 (APP/DNA):The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, in collaboration with Lahore Qalandars, is set to launch a nationwide Cricket Talent Hunt starting from Quetta on June 27, 2025.
This initiative aims to discover and nurture cricketing talent from across Pakistan, offering young players a platform to showcase their skills and pursue professional opportunities in the sport.
According to an official,the partnership between the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) and Lahore Qalandars was formalized on June 12, 2025, through a memorandum of understanding.
Under this agreement, the talent hunt will be extended to major cities across the country, ensuring widespread access to the program and enabling the identification of skilled youth from all regions.
Selected players will not only receive modern, high-performance training, but also opportunities to represent their talent on national and international platforms.
This initiative is part of the PMYP’s broader mission to engage youth in constructive activities, particularly sports, and to help them reach their full potential.
This landmark collaboration reflects a strong commitment to youth development and highlights the importance of creating professional pathways for young athletes in the country.
