Uzbekistan, Korean airports to develop joint training programs

TASHKENT, JUN 26 (UZA/APP/DNA):Representatives of Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), the operator of the largest international airport in the Republic of Korea, and the Incheon Airport Aviation Academy (IAAA) visited the specialized Airports Training Center and held talks with the leadership of Uzbekistan Airports. The guests got familiar with the center’s infrastructure, including simulation technologies, multimedia resources, and training classrooms.

The meeting resulted in signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the companies. The document provides for the development of joint training programs, faculty exchanges, and the organization of activities in accordance with international educational standards.

Special attention was given to creating a sustainable platform for personnel training within a unified educational space for Asian and CIS countries. Mechanisms for ensuring academic mobility and integrating the center into the global civil aviation training system were also discussed.

Following the visit, the Korean delegation highly praised the infrastructure and potential of the Airports Training Center, noting the high level of organization in the educational process, compliance with modern aviation industry standards, and the availability of conditions necessary for implementing international programs. The parties expressed confidence in the effectiveness of further cooperation and confirmed their readiness to begin implementing the first joint projects in the second half of 2025.
