ISLAMABAD, JUL 2 /DNA/ – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notification for the restoration of reserved seats, granting Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) 13 additional seats in the National Assembly.
According to the notification, the restored seats include 12 for women and one minority seat. With these additions, PML-N’s position in the National Assembly has further strengthened.

National Assembly
According to the ECP notification, membership of 19 lawmakers has been restored in the National Assembly.
- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) gains 13 additional seats.
- Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) gains 4 additional seats.
- Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) gains 2 additional seats.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly
In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, 25 members’ seats have been restored.
- JUI-F gains 10 seats.
- PML-N gains 7 seats.
- PPP gains 6 seats.
- Awami National Party (ANP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) each gain 1 seat.
Punjab Assembly
In the Punjab Assembly, 27 lawmakers have been reinstated.
- PML-N secures 23 new seats.
- PPP gains 2 seats.
- Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) and PML-Q each gain 1 seat.
Sindh Assembly
In the Sindh Assembly, 3 members’ seats have been restored.
- PPP gains 2 seats.
- Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) gains 1 seat.
