ISLAMABAD: This in totally baseless and ridiculous propaganda of some elements who against CDA especially after its historic and successful auction of CDA as well as complete and full trust and confidence of investors who have shown upon CDA during first day of auction. Whereas contrary to the rumors, as well as propaganda, the first day of auction went very successful and a plot measuring 1333.33 sq yards in Blue Area was auctioned @ Rs. 3125000 per sq yard, highest ever price in CDA’s history.
Plot No. 12 in the same area was sold @ Rs. 2705000 per sq yard which was though priced @ Rs. 3150000 per sq yard in the last auction, however the bidder defaulted. It is further clarified that the plots sold fetched much higher prices as compared to the authority’s reserved price.
Such acts seem to be out of frustration on part of those who are supported by illegal housing schemes management’s and failed to stop builders / investors from participating in auction despite putting best of their efforts.
Sale proceeds of over Rs. 17 Billion on the first day reflect the highest level of confidence of investors on CDA and its management who have succefullyaunched and completed a number of infrastructure related projects for the people of the capital city.
