RAMALLAH: The State of Palestine welcomes the outcome of the Emergency Ministerial Conference of the Hague Group, held in Bogotá from 15 to 16 July 2025, under the joint chairmanship of the Republics of Colombia and South Africa.
This meeting is a pivotal step toward restoring international law as a binding reference for ending the Israeli occupation and enabling the Palestinian people to realize their inalienable rights.
The growing consensus within the Global majority, as reflected in this meeting, affirms that the will of nations for freedom and justice can no longer be ignored. The Palestinian cause is no longer measured solely through the lens of interests, but rather through the lens of universal values and human dignity.
Palestine appreciates Colombia’s generous hosting and leadership and will continue to work with friends and allies to defend our common values and shared goals.
