ISLAMABAD: Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Abu Qasim Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, along with his delegation, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister warmly welcomed the Libyan Commander-in-Chief and his delegation to Pakistan.
During the meeting, discussions were held on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various sectors.
The Libyan Commander-in-Chief expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him and his delegation.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif, Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, Prime Minister’s Advisor Dr. Tauqir Shah, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and senior government officials were also present at the meeting.
