DUBAI, AUG 20: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has admitted its error over removing the names of Indian ODI captain Rohit Sharma and ace batter Virat Kohli from the list of ODI rankings.
According to details that surfaced on Wednesday, the names of both Sharma and Kohli have been included again in the ODI rankings. The ICC spokesperson has admitted the error, saying that the error that occurred in the rankings’ table has been removed immediately.
The ICC spokesperson has emphasised that the rankings of both the Indian batting greats have been restored.
It is pertinent to note that both the Indian greats last represented India in the final of the Champions Trophy, in which they held their team to clinch another ICC title.
