DPM/FM of Kazakhstan arrives in Pakistan on Monday

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 7 /DNA/ – Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will pay an official visit to Pakistan from 8–9 September 2025. The visit holds special significance as it precedes the forthcoming state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, scheduled for November 2025.

Mr. Nurtleu will be accompanied by a high-level, 13-member delegation, which includes the Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan. On the sidelines of the visit, meetings of the Joint Working Groups on Agriculture and Information Technology will also be convened to explore avenues for sectoral cooperation.

During his stay in Islamabad, the Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will hold a tête-à-tête meeting with Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, followed by delegation-level talks. He is also scheduled to call on the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The discussions will focus on reviewing preparations for the upcoming Presidential visit, while also deliberating on the full spectrum of Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations. Key areas of focus include enhancing bilateral trade and investment, agricultural collaboration, educational and cultural exchanges, tourism promotion, regional connectivity and logistics, as well as closer cooperation at multilateral fora.

The upcoming visit is expected to further consolidate the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, deepening bilateral engagements across diverse sectors for the mutual benefit of the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
