RAWALPINDI, SEPT 15 (DNA):Pakistan’s security forces have killed 31 Indian-sponsored terrorists, described as Khawarij, in two separate intelligence-based operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 13 and 14.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation was launched in Lakki Marwat District on reported presence of militants. Security forces engaged the hideout, and following an intense exchange of fire, 14 terrorists were eliminated.

In a separate operation carried out in Bannu District, security forces neutralized 17 more terrorists after heavy fighting.

The ISPR said sanitization operations are still underway in the areas to clear any remaining elements. It reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in their commitment to eliminate the threat of terrorism, particularly Indian-sponsored groups attempting to destabilize the country.
