China sends relief aid to Pakistan for flood victims

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 28 – Pakistan has received fresh humanitarian aid from China to support flood victims, with relief goods arriving at Nur Khan Air Base. Officials hailed the gesture as another sign of the enduring Pak-China friendship.

According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), two relief flights from China carried 300 tents and 9,000 blankets to Pakistan. The consignment was received at Nur Khan Air Base.

Officials welcome aid

The relief goods were welcomed by Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam and NDMA Chairman Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, alongside the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan.

Minister Muqam said that the timely assistance reflects the “enduring friendship” between the two countries. He added that, on the Prime Minister’s directives, government agencies and NDMA are actively working to deliver relief to flood-affected communities.
