IHC seeks comments on plea for removal of Imran Khan's tweets

ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (APP):The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday sought response from the founder of PTI and other parties on a petition 

seeking to remove the posts of the PTI founder from his X account while declaring it illegal.

The court ordered the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency and the Superintendent of Adiala Jail, including
other parties, to submit a response within 2 weeks.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the petition filed by citizen Ghulam Murtaza. His lawyer Barrister Zafarullah appeared in the court and requested the court to order the removal and blocking of the illegal and malicious
tweets of the convicted prisoner founder of PTI.

The court issued notices to the parties and ordered them to submit a response within 2 weeks. The founder of PTI,
the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency, the Superintendent of Adiala Jail and other parties have also been
sought to respond.

The petition requested the removal of the alleged disruptive posts from the X account during his imprisonment and to prevent their dissemination.
