RAWALPINDI, October 16, 2025: Pakistan’s Security Forces have killed 34 terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy outfit Fitna Al Khwarij during a series of intelligence-based operations conducted across different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between October 13 and 15, 2025.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism drive under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. The campaign aims to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism and ensure long-term peace and stability in the country.
In the first operation, conducted in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan, security forces responded to confirmed intelligence about the presence of terrorists. During an intense exchange of fire, 18 Khwarij were eliminated as troops effectively targeted their positions.
In another operation in South Waziristan District, security forces engaged with terrorists based on actionable intelligence. The ensuing gun battle resulted in the neutralization of eight more Khwarij.
A third encounter took place in Bannu District, where eight additional terrorists were successfully neutralized after a heavy exchange of fire.
The ISPR added that sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining elements linked to the Indian-sponsored Fitna Al Khwarij.
Security officials reaffirmed their determination that Pakistan’s Counter-Terrorism campaign will continue relentlessly until the country is completely rid of all forms of terrorism and extremism.
“Under Azm-e-Istehkam, the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan remain steadfast and fully committed to wiping out the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from our soil,” the statement said.
