India refuses to accept Asia Cup trophy from Mohsin Naqvi

India has remained firm in its refusal to receive the Asia Cup trophy from Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Devajit Saikia has written to the ACC, requesting that the trophy be sent directly to India.

“Should the trophy not be delivered, India plans to raise the issue with the International Cricket Council (ICC),” said Saikia.

It is pertinent to note that the ACC has offered India the opportunity to receive the trophy at an event on November 10 (Monday).
