MOSCOW, Oct 23 (QNA/APP/DNA):At least nine people were killed in an explosion at a factory in the Russian city of Kopeysk.
Russia Today reported that the explosion also resulted in five injuries, noting that initial reports indicate that there are missing persons.
Related reports suggested that the industrial facility was hit by a Ukrainian drone, but the Governor of Russia’s Chelyabinsk region Aleksey Teksler denied these reports, indicating that this has not been confirmed.
For its part, the Novosti News Agency quoted a source as saying that the cause of the explosion may have been neglect of technological regulations at the factory.
