LAHORE, OCT 26 /DNA/ – The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF), the ruling group of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has achieved another major success as the Awami Business Group (ABG) has announced to join PIAF (Anjum Nisar Group).

The Awami Business Group, a prominent business body representing DHA, announced its merger during a meeting led by Major (R) Rafiq Hasrat, who headed a 40-member delegation. Key leaders of the group, including Shahan Sheikh, Asad Mirza, and Faisal Shahid Butt, formally declared their inclusion in PIAF and met with the PIAF leadership.
PIAF Patron-in-Chief and SAARC Chamber Vice President Mian Anjum Nisar, PIAF Chairman and LCCI President Faheem ur Rehman Saigol, former Lahore Chamber President Muhammad Ali Mian, Senior Vice Chairman Nasrullah Mughal, Vice Chairman Tahir Manzoor Chaudhry, and Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh warmly welcomed the delegation.
Addressing the meeting, Mian Anjum Nisar and Faheem ur Rehman Saigol said that PIAF has now become a movement with members spread across the entire country. They emphasized that PIAF is not just about hard work, but about consistent effort and strong commitment. Faheem ur Rehman Saigol added that under the leadership of Patron-in-Chief Mian Anjum Nisar, the business community has always remained united and will continue to stand together in the future. He noted that PIAF has never left the business community alone in difficult times and that a new chapter of collaboration is beginning today.
He further stated that PIAF has worked to ensure representation in every sector, field, and market and takes pride in recognizing and promoting talented individuals from all areas of the business community. Former Chairman Muhammad Ali Mian said that merit has always been PIAF’s top priority. Over the past 30 years, PIAF has worked with great dedication and has earned respect through its tireless service to the business community. He added that the group will continue moving forward by consulting with traders to resolve their issues collectively.
Former Lahore Chamber President and senior PIAF leader Muhammad Ali Mian highlighted that merit has always been the cornerstone of PIAF’s philosophy. Over the past three decades, the organization has earned respect through honesty, hard work, and a deep sense of responsibility towards the business community. He said that PIAF has always valued those who serve selflessly and has given them the opportunity to play leading roles. He added that the group will continue to consult traders from every sector to identify challenges and find practical solutions that promote economic growth and stability.
The newly joined members of the Awami Business Group expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and said that PIAF’s track record of sincerity, performance, and consistent service was the main reason behind their decision to join.
