Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 met Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto @FM_Szijjarto today on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
The Ministers reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation, covering political, economic, trade, cultural, defence ties, and people-to-people exchanges. They also exchanged views on broader regional and global developments, and underscored the importance of continued engagement at multilateral fora.
The two Ministers also signed the renewal of the MOU on Cooperation within the Framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum Program 2026–2028, ensuring enhanced scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students in Hungary.
They also reaffirmed maintain close contact to expedite the finalization of other pending agreements to further deepen cooperation between Pakistan and Hungary.
