Portugal envoy, Sindh chief minister discuss boosting bilateral cooperation

ISLAMABAD, NOV 24 /DNA/ – The Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, Frederico Silva, met on the 21st of November in Karachi with the Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, to discuss the status quo of the relations between Portugal and Sindh Province as well as avenues for deeper cooperation.

The meeting highlighted shared priorities in cultural and sports exchange, renewable energy, higher education, digital innovation, and opportunities for Pakistani professionals and students in Portugal. Both sides underlined the strong potential for partnerships in emerging sectors such as clean energy, water management, technology, and creative industries, reflecting the complementary strengths of the two countries.

The Ambassador reiterated Portugal’s commitment to expanding bilateral ties and supporting initiatives that bring long-term benefits to both societies and Peoples.
