RAWALPINDI, NOV 28: The Sri Lanka cricket team have donated the earnings from their Pakistan series to victims of the recent floods and landslides.
Sri Lankan head coach Sanath Jayasuriya said: “The players and support staff are saddened by the situation our fellow Sri Lankans face following the devastating floods and landslides at home. As a team, our hearts go out to all affected.”
“We have decided to donate the tour money and match fees from the Pakistan series to support those in need. We will continue to provide assistance once we return home. Please stay safe, follow guidelines and care for one another during this difficult period. We stand together with all Sri Lankans.”
