ISLAMABAD, Nov 29 /DNA/: Türkiye on Saturday formally inducted a fleet of 9,200 new security vehicles to enhance the operational capacity of its law-enforcement agencies, including the Gendarmerie, Police, and Coast Guard.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the grand inauguration ceremony, calling the addition of modern vehicles a “significant milestone” for the country’s internal security framework.
On the instructions of Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry participated in the high-profile event as a special representative of Pakistan.
During the ceremony, Chaudhry held a meeting with President Erdogan, where both sides exchanged messages of goodwill for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed ongoing cooperation between the two nations.
The new fleet has officially been placed into service and is expected to substantially strengthen Türkiye’s security and emergency response capabilities.
