VISAKHAPATNAM, DEC 6 – Ton-up Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma have powered India to a series victory over South Africa in three-match ODI series with nine-wicket victory India at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
According to details, India won the toss and elected to field first. South Africa scored 270 all out in 47.5 overs. Quinton de Kock scored 106 from 89 balls, striking eight fours and six sixes.
Temba Bavuma made 48 before being caught by Jadeja. Matthew Breetzke was dismissed lbw for 24 by Prasidh Krishna.
Aiden Markram scored one run and was bowled by Prasidh Krishna. Dewald Brevis scored 29 and was caught by Sharma off Kuldeep Yadav.
Marco Jansen made 17 and was caught by Jadeja, bowled Kuldeep Yadav. Keshav Maharaj remained 20 not out.
Prasidh Krishna took four wickets for 66 runs in 9.5 overs. Kuldeep Yadav claimed four wickets for 41 runs in 10 overs.
India reached the target of 271 in 39.5 overs for the loss of one wicket. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 116 not out from 121 balls.
Rohit Sharma made 75 before being caught by Maharaj off Breetzke. Virat Kohli remained 65 not out from 45 balls.
