ISLAMABAD:A dignified prayer ceremony was held at the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Secretariat on the occasion of the death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. The event was organized under the supervision of In-Charge PPP Central Secretariat, Syed Sabit-ul-Haider Bukhari.
Senior party leaders, including Farhatullah Babar, Raja Imran Ashraf and Advocate Raja Shakeel Abbasi, along with a large number of party workers and jiyalas, attended the ceremony.
The participants paid rich tribute to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto for her historic struggle for democracy, unmatched sacrifices and lifelong services to the people of Pakistan.
Special prayers were offered for the eternal peace and high ranks of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, as well as for the strengthening of democracy, supremacy of the Constitution and progress and prosperity of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Sabit-ul-Haider Bukhari reaffirmed the commitment that the Pakistan Peoples Party will continue its democratic struggle in line with the mission and ideology of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and will remain steadfast in its pursuit of public rights and democratic values.
