ATTOCK, 30 Dec (DNA): The President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Tehsil Pindi Gheb, Malik Zeeshan Dhera, has stated that the fundamental reason for the backwardness of Tehsil Pindi Gheb is incompetent and ineffective leadership. In today’s era of development, when nations around the world are launching space missions, our ancient tehsil is still deprived of basic facilities.
He expressed these views while talking to the media. He said that Tehsil Pindi Gheb was part of Rawalpindi District before 1904, but it is unfortunate that the rulers of today have failed to provide even clean drinking water to the people. He voiced serious concern that the youth of the constituency are being forced to move to other cities and even abroad in pursuit of education, while the children of the elite study in expensive foreign institutions, and the common people are reduced merely to casting votes.
Malik Zeeshan Dhera said that government hospitals in the tehsil are also unable to provide basic healthcare facilities to the poor, and that the government has even withdrawn a facility like the health card, which was a great relief for the common people.
He urged politically aware youth of the tehsil to step into the practical arena and raise their voices against the deprivations of their constituency. He said that the people must reconnect with their tehsil in order to get rid of incompetent leaders who distance themselves from the public after coming into power.
He further said that the youth should become part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and serve as the voice of their tehsil, serving Pindi Gheb in the same way PTI did during its tenure from 2018 to 2022.
