ISLAMABAD: A ceremony was held to mark the 78TH Independence Day of Myanmar where Chief Guest Qaisar Ahmed Sheikh, Federal Minister for Board of Investment, joined Wuuna Han, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, along with heads of missions of ASEAN countries and other dignitaries in cutting a cake to celebrate the occasion.
In his address, the Ambassador of Myanmar expressed gratitude to the audience and emphasized his country’s desire to strengthen ties with Pakistan, voicing hope that bilateral relations would continue to grow in the days ahead.
Chief Guest Qaisar Ahmed Sheikh highlighted that Pakistan greatly values its relations with Myanmar and expressed confidence that these ties will receive a further boost in the future.
