KARACHI, JAN 22 /DNA/: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan leader and Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal on Thursday demanded that Karachi be declared a federal territory under Articles 148 and 149 of the Constitution, saying it is necessary “for the sake of Pakistan”.
Addressing a press conference at the party’s headquarters in Bahadurabad, Kamal said the Sindh government has failed, and Karachi cannot be left at its mercy.
He urged the federal government to intervene and make Karachi the financial capital of Pakistan.
“Enough is enough…. Karachi cannot be left at the Sindh government’s mercy,” he added.
