WINDHOEK – Australia dismissed South Africa for 118 runs in 32.1 overs in the first match of Super Six Group 1 in the Under-19 World Cup here at the Namibia Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Australia won the toss and put South Africa into bat. The kangaroos bowling attack proved too hot to handle as only three Proteas batsmen entered double figure. Paul James was the top scorer with 33, followed by Jorich Van Schalkwyk who contributed 26 and skipper Muhammed Bulbulia 19 runs.
Charles Lachmund captured three wickets, while Will Byrom and Aryan Sharma two scalps each.
