ISLAMABAD, Jan 25: Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed said that operation Bunyan um Marsoos has shattered India’s false portrayal of stability in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), laying bare the harsh realities of repression and asserting that the Kashmiri people’s quest for freedom will not be deterred.
While speaking on PTV News’ Kashmir programme, the EU chairman said Operation Bunyan Marsoos ripped away India’s false narrative of peace in occupied Kashmir and stressed that the world must stand with the truth of the situation on the ground.
He warned that many international journalists and NGOs have been denied permission to visit the region, not out of caution but because authorities fear the world seeing the true situation firsthand, exposing the systematic failures behind claims of peace and stability. The lack of access, he said, only highlights how deep the crisis really is.
Syed emphasized that after Pakistan’s decisive response, people have grown weary of India’s false narrative, and no amount of power policy or military operation can silence the Kashmiri voice or extinguish their demand for freedom.
He declared that neither propaganda nor force can break the spirit of Kashmiris, who will continue their struggle till liberation.
He added that even if Indian forces conduct large-scale operations with 800,000 or 1,000,000 troops, the Kashmiri movement for freedom will remain undeterred, asserting that truth and justice cannot be buried by intimidation or misinformation.
He noted that so far, foreign nations have refused to listen to India’s narrative, leaving its claims unheeded on the world stage.
He added that Pakistan’s support for Kashmir remains resolute and unshakeable and Islamabad will continue to back the Kashmiri people’s quest for freedom and dignity until the end.
