Kyiv, Feb 4: Russian and Ukrainian drones strikes have killed four people in east Ukraine, officials on both sides said on Wednesday.
Two people were killed by a Russian drone strike on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region early on Wednesday, while another two people died after a late Tuesday Ukrainian drone strike in the Lugansk region, nearly all of which is controlled by Russian forces.
In Dnipropetrovsk, “a 68-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were killed” in the attack on Synelnykivsky district, Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the regional administration, said on Telegram.
In Lugansk, “a young man and a 20-year-old woman were killed in a drone attack on the Novokrassnyanka” that hit a minibus, the local government said on Telegram, adding that the drone was launched by Ukrainian forces.
