BANGKOK, Feb 9: Thai citizens have supported the proposal to work out a new constitution to replace the one of 2017, according to the referendum results cited by the Elections Commission after counting 97% of ballots.
As many as 60% of those taking part in the referendum voted for changing the constitution, while 13% voted against and 9% abstained.
