Cairo hosts inaugural Ai Everything MEA Egypt 2026 summit

CAIRO, Feb 13: The inaugural edition of Ai Everything MEA Egypt 2026 concluded the other day after broad international participation, positioning the event as a regional platform for artificial intelligence across infrastructure, enterprise solutions, investment, and startups.

The summit was attended by global companies, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors to discuss AI’s economic impact and its integration into government and business operations.

For his part, newly appointed Minister of Communications and Information Technology Raafat Hindi said that Egypt is working to build a competitive AI ecosystem focused on innovation, talent development, and attracting investment, adding that the sector is expected to continue expanding.

More than 250 AI startups took part, presenting applications in communication, customer service, agriculture, healthcare, and financial services. Discussions examined how AI is reshaping banking and digital payments, improving operational efficiency, and expanding financial inclusion, alongside new funding models aimed at supporting scalable ventures.

It is noteworthy that the next edition of Ai Everything MEA Egypt will take place in Cairo on June 1–2, 2027, with a deeper focus on enterprise adoption and regional startup growth.
