ATTOCK, FEB 20 /DNA/ – Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Attock, Aneel Saeed, on Thursday directed all concerned departments to ensure maximum relief to citizens during the holy month of Ramadan by maintaining cleanliness, availability of essential commodities and uninterrupted civic services.
He issued these directions while presiding over an important meeting held at the Municipal Committee, which was attended by officers of the relevant departments.
The meeting reviewed in detail the arrangements regarding provision of essential items, sanitation measures and public facilities during Ramadan. The ADCG stressed that all necessary steps must be taken to prevent inconvenience to the public and to ensure smooth delivery of services.
He also instructed the departments concerned to take proactive measures for the improvement and beautification of the city.
Emphasising strict action against illegal encroachments, Aneel Saeed said that no negligence or slackness would be tolerated in the ongoing anti-encroachment campaign and that operations would continue under a coordinated strategy.
