ISLAMABAD:A large number of nazims, local government representatives, and district-level political leaders from Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, and Bannu have joined Pakistan Muslim League (Q). The joining delegation met the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development and Senior Vice President Chaudhry Salik Hussain at his residence to formally announce their inclusion in the party.
The delegation was led by Provincial President Intikhab Khan Chamkani of Pakistan Muslim League and District President Khan Muhammad Wazir of Pakistan Muslim League Paharpur. Nazims, local representatives, and party workers from various union councils were also present on the occasion.
The delegation included district leaders and nazims who previously belonged to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Peoples Party, and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan. Among them were Malik Altaf, Malik Faheem, Wajid Baloch, Sardar Tanveer Baloch, Muhammad Asif Khan, Malik Nasrullah, Malik Daniyal, and Fareedullah.
Also present at the meeting were PML Deputy Information Secretary Malik Kamran Munir, Provincial Additional General Secretary Muhammad Bilal Muhammadzai, Deputy General Secretary Abdul Basit, and Deputy Information Secretary Shahid Ilyas Marwat, who welcomed the newly joined leaders and workers.
During the meeting, the delegation expressed full confidence in the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening and organizing the party in the southern districts. Participants said that Pakistan Muslim League can play an effective and dynamic role in resolving public issues, protecting the rights of local government representatives, and promoting regional development, which is why they decided to join the party.
On this occasion, Chaudhry Salik Hussain welcomed the delegation and said that all nazims, leaders, and workers joining the party would be given respect, recognition, and full representation. He added that party organization in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be further activated and every possible support would be provided to address the issues faced by local government representatives.
The meeting also included a detailed discussion on organizational matters, future political strategy, and making public outreach campaigns more effective. Participants reiterated their commitment to continue joint efforts for public service and political stability.
