ATTOCK 24 Feb: /DNA/ – Additional Deputy Commissioner General Aneel Saeed presided over an important meeting at the Municipal Committee office, attended by officers of all relevant departments. The meeting reviewed in detail matters relating to the removal of illegal encroachments across the city, improvement of urban beautification, and provision of basic facilities to the public.
The ADCG directed the concerned officers to carry out effective operations against illegal encroachments throughout the city to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain the city’s aesthetic standards. Emphasizing proactive governance ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, he stressed the need to maximize public facilitation measures.
During the meeting, arrangements for Ramadan Bazaars were also discussed, including the availability of essential food items and their provision at controlled and affordable rates. The ADCG instructed officers to ensure the supply of quality goods in Ramadan Bazaars and to maintain strict monitoring of prices.
He further underscored the importance of inter-departmental coordination and a well-defined implementation strategy. All departments were directed to fulfill their responsibilities diligently and ensure strict compliance with issued instructions to provide improved services and relief to citizens during Ramadan.
